We stopped in O'Fallon to get something to eat on the first day of our travels to FL. The oil light came on suddenly, and although we knew we had oil and didn't see it leaking we didn't want to continue our trip without having it checked out. The first place we stopped had already sent their mechanics home - it was about 4:45 pm on Friday. He suggested Mission Accomplished - and what a blessing that turned out to be. Arriving there at about 4:50 we really thought our chances of getting any help were slim. Chane talked with my husband while I waited... my husband came out and said that they were willing to take a look. We were both surprised. After taking a look, the mechanic felt that the problem was most likely the oil pressure sensor, but he wouldn't be sure until he took everything apart because as is usually the case now, you couldn't get to it any other way. They were quick to call for the part from their supply store so that they'd have it before that place closed. They were really thinking about how to get us safely back on the road. We had to take the risk that it wasn't the oil pump - they left it up to us but said they had serviced other Hyundai's for the very same reason so they were 90 % sure. We went with their experience and took the risk (if it was the oil pump they couldn't fix it until Tuesday due to the holiday. We were so thankful that when they pulled the sensor out it definitely was the problem! And the amazing thing was, they were so happy for us! It was as if they were working on their best friend's car or a family member's. They offered us water, coffee, snacks, etc. while we waited for the mechanic to replace the sensor and put things back together. So the mechanic, and Chane - the service advisor - both stuck around with us until about 7 pm. 2 hours after they were supposed to be done for the week. They were truly our heroes and to that, they said, "No, we are really so happy that we could help you to get safely back on the road tonight". And we could tell by their faces that it was true. We would recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of car service - and if we lived nearby they would be our car service providers for life. Thanks so much for being a business that truly lives up to your mission statement. Everything you say about yourselves is true! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
